Gold is trading at Rs 49,090 for 10g today; silver price at Rs 62,000/kg

The price of 10 grams of gold remained unchanged on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold trading at Rs 49,090 and 22-karat gold trading at Rs 47,090.

One kg of silver is selling at Rs 62,000, up Rs 300 from yesterday.

In Delhi, the price of 24 karat gold stands at Rs 51,430, while in Mumbai, it is at Rs 49,090, according to the Goodreturns website.

The price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold in Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 47,140 and Rs 47,090, respectively.

In Chennai, 10 grams of 24 karat gold is selling at Rs 49,440 on Tuesday, while 10 grams of 22 karat gold is selling at Rs 45,340.

The price of gold varies across the country due to excise duties, state taxes and manufacturing fees.

In Chennai, the price of 1 kg of silver is at Rs 65,500 on Tuesday, while in Delhi and Mumbai, the metal is selling at Rs 62,000.

Silver sells for Rs 62,000 per kg in Kolkata, while in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, metal sells for Rs 65,500 per kg.
