The price of spot gold today( ₹ 46,680) is below this week’s average of ₹47378.6 by 1.47%. The price was however lower than yesterday’s value of ₹46690.
Although world gold prices ($1816.7) grew by 0.18%, the spot price of gold remained weak in the Indian market ( ₹46680).

Following yesterday’s trend, global spot prices also continued to rise today. It was recorded at $1816.7 per Troy ounce during the last close, which noted an increase of 0.18% compared to yesterday. This price level is 4.24% higher than the average gold price seen over the past 30 days ($1739.7). Among other precious metals, silver prices fell today. Silver plunged 0.06% to $25.2 per Troy ounce.
Moreover, the price of platinum showed a slight increase. Platinum, a precious metal, rose 0.05% to hit $1,078.0 per Troy ounce. Meanwhile, in India, the price of gold was ₹46090 per 10 grams on MCX, with a change of ₹585.3. In addition, the price of 24 karat gold in the Indian spot market was quoted at ₹46680 .

Gold prices in India fell today with MCX futures down 1.27% to ₹46090 for 10 grams. In the previous session, gold was down 2.66% or thereabouts ₹585.3 for 10 grams.
On MCX, silver futures plunged nearly 1.99% or ₹1273.7 per kg at the price level of ₹64006 per kg.
The spot price of gold today ( ₹46680) decreased by ₹585.3 from yesterday ( ₹46690), as global spot prices rose $3.25 to $1,816.7 today. After the Indian spot price, the MCX futures price saw a decline of ₹585.3 and value of ₹46090 to date.
